A passion for antiques (and an apartment that was quickly filling up with them) led Kent Hunter and Jonathan Bee to open Hunter Bee, a quirky collection of industrial objects, mid-century modern furniture and American country pieces.

After spending weekends at a family home in the Berkshires, they discovered the quaint village of Millerton, New York on the recommendation of a friend. Named one of the "10 Coolest Small Towns in America", it was the perfect mix of bucolic setting and eclectic sophistication.

As a Creative Director for several New York City agencies, Kent has channeled his love of graphics, typography and folk art into the curation of objects for Hunter Bee. Inventory ranges from gigantic pop art to exquisite miniatures. His practical side gravitates toward furniture that is functional but fun.

A multi-media installation artist and natural-born entrepreneur, Jonathan brings years of retail and gallery experience along with his fashion addiction to the business. He has exhibited his art around the country and at the annual Wassaic Project, located nearby in a 19th century Mill.

Hunter Bee has developed a loyal following of collectors and friends of the unique and the unusual.
